It's only money...

I really need to keep myself occupied in other ways other than tv, internet and discount stores. I was watching tv the other night and saw an infomercial on a butt workout. It was from Beach Body which also makes the P90X and Insanity workouts. This one is called the Brazil Butt Lift.

Who wouldn't want a butt like her?
It's suppose to tone and lift your butt as well as your thighs. YAY! I need to work on my thighs the most. It's in the mail now so as soon as it gets here I am going to start. I haven't decided if I am going to track my progress here or not. I will take a before picture so I might.

So that was my tv splurge, which actually ties into the internet splurge. Even though I saw the workout on tv, I bought it on the internet. I also visited my favorite online store. Amazon.com. That is a dangerous site for me. Thankfully for my wallet I only bought 2 shirts, a corset, and a hoodie. One of the shirts I had to buy. It is soooooo me!

Seriously! Those who know me, it's like this shirt was made for me. I love all 3! I got me tons of shoes, plenty of booze, and I'm working on the boys with tattoos part. Hehe. I actually did really good with the internet order. I went back over my cart and deleted some things from it. But the stuff I did get was awesome!!

Then the discount stores. I went to Shoe Carnival and bought 3 pairs of shoes. Haha yeah I know only 3! What's wrong with me! Haha. I did have to go back because they charged me too much for a pair of shoes. Then I also went to Ross. I actually bought a dress and a pair of pants that actually fit! So all in all it wasn't a bad shopping spree. Still I spent more money than I would have if I had something to do. I miss my roommate!

My new Chuck Taylors

I have had some excitement since she has been gone. I almost had my room invaded with me chillin on the bed. I heard the door knock and went to get up to get it and the door was already opening before I had a chance to get to it. Thankfully I had the swing arm over so it stopped them. I was like "Whoa! Really!" The lady was like "Oh sorry, sorry. I thought you guys were at work." Really? The Do Not Disturb sign means nothing to you? There is definately going to be a complaint filled.

The best part about today was the evening run. We were going to do it earlier in the day but it was way too hot to run. We did go for a lunch at Applebee's and had Oriental Chicken Salad. My favorite!! Then we went to a tanning, then Smoothie King, then Ross's then running. We ran pretty much in the dark. We ran at the school nearby and if it wasn't for the kids practicing baseball, the neighboring track would have been really dark. Either way it was nice to finally go and run. The only bad thing was that it was at 8 pm and now I have too much energy to go to sleep.

Oh well. Lets see if I can't watch some tv and not get the urge to buy something.

Not what I had planned...

Well I didn't make it to the run today. I woke up and I just didn't feel like doing anything. I told the girl who was going to run with me that my stomached hurt and wanted to see if her brother wanted to run in my place. She was totally fine with not running because she was out late and didn't want to run either.

So I went back to bed. Around noon when I woke up I felt like an ass. I really should have went. It would have been fun. I kinda regret it right now. Oh well. At least I got to relax a bit and let my legs relax. I have been sore since Thursday. I pushed myself and ran 2.5 miles. I didn't stretch nearly as much as I should have.

I am still kinda upset that my friend didn't come see me. I was really looking forward to seeing him. I had a feeling that he wouldn't show. Still. I tried to convince him to come again but he said that he had school Monday morning. He tried to get me to drive there. I told him it didn't work out so well for me the last time I went and saw him. (I almost got a DUI and he basically blew me off the whole time.) Not cool. I told him he has to come to me to make it up.

We will see. I am really bored though and I really do want to see him. I am off till Wednesday morning so I have the time. I just don't want to drive over 9 hours to be blown off again. I did go to Applebees tonight for dinner with the other poor saps who are stuck here. Whooo Hooo. Total Sarcasm. This is not how I planned my Saturday night to be.

Kinda disappointed right now...

Well today was a little bit of a roller coaster. Last night I couldn't get to bed until late. I don't know what it was but I just couldn't fall asleep. And of course I had to wake up early. I think I got to sleep around midnight then I was back up at 4 am.

The 4 am sucked to wake up to but it was for a really cool thing. Me and one of the guys I work with went to the cutter this morning....in the pouring down rain....and it was basically a severe thunderstorm. Thankfully he drove. I had a hard enough time being coherent that early. I am the cutter's photographer so I kinda felt like it was my duty to go in. I am so glad I did. It felt amazing. I had the feeling like it was my little girl (if I had one) going down the rode on her bike for the first time by herself. I felt so much pride. It was the first real time the ship had left the pier, let alone down the bayou.

The weather was pretty crazy this morning. She still sailed away! That just shows that this is one tough bitch! We were actually the only two from the boat who watch her sail away. Highly disappointed in the rest. This was a big thing and I surely wasn't going to let a little rain and an early time deter me. Plus as she pulled away from the pier, the rain stopped. Perfect timing.

So that ended up being a high, but my low ended my day. I am going to run in the NOLA Mad Dash tomorrow and a friend of the male gender was going to come visit me for the weekend. Almost everyone from the ship is going home (paid trip home for those who are married) and I am stuck here. Well I don't have to stay here per say, but I wanted to stay in New Orleans with him. I found of today that he isn't able to make it because he has training for his new job. Bummer.

Total Bummer. I really wanted to see him. This is the guy who is like 10 years younger than me (but is an ole' soul) and I used to see when I left North Carolina. I really liked him. Oh well maybe another time he can make it here. He got a hold of me later on this evening and said he wanted to see me so that is promising. He lives in Orlando now instead of North Carolina. At least its closer.

Do fingers go blank?

So if have that inkling that I want to write a blog entry but don't know what to write about does that mean that I am going blank or my fingers? Ok so that was retarded.

There hasn't been much to write about lately. Just hanging on. Monday was a long day. Today wasn't that bad cause I didn't go in until 5:30 pm. This morning kinda sucked cause I didn't get to bed until 2/2:30am and that was only with the help of some Tylenol PM. I was then awaken at 9am. Uhh, I couldn't even function.

Hopefully tonight I will be able to get to bed a little sooner. I want to go run tomorrow at 10 am and then go tanning. I really need to lose weight and get some of my tan back. I am getting so pale and chunky. I like how big my boobs have gotten but everything else sucks. I hate not fitting into my cute clothes. Especially since I am starting to get better at the whole fashion sense thing and looking all girly. I also think I look better with a tan. It's all about attitude.

Ii'm looking to get my attitude back. Oh don't get me wrong, I have an attitude, it's just not geared towards my body. I haven't felt very sexy ever since I cut my hair. Now that its finally starting to grow back, I am starting to feel better. And I hope the running will finally start kicking in and I will lose some weight. I'm glad I quit smoking, but damn, the weight gain sucked.

I want you like pancakes want syrup...

Yeah that was a pretty good line. I don't know if I made that up or if I heard it some where. Either way I liked it and use it on someone this weekend. I'm totally the romantic type.

This weekend was pretty good. It was St Pattys weekend so of course I had fun. I found a shirt that was perfect for me:

It is the best shirt ever. Haha. And yet so me! I had someone tell me that she was surprised that I didn't throw up because of how much I drank. What can I say....I am a rockstar. Saturday I went shopping at the mall then met up with the guys at a Irish bar. Good times there. Then we went to another place that was in walking distance to the hotel. Wise choice.

Sunday consisted of trying to sleep in and recover. Not so successful. I got up and went to the parade. They were throwing food from the floats. Yes you heard me right. Food. Like vegetables. Cabbage, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, yeah seriously food. It was just weird. It worked out because we used it later on for the crawfish boil we had later.

I get shit changed....

So we are in Louisiana doing this whole factory training for my boat and I actually was attentive this week. Most of the time I am occupied with my crossword puzzle and only pay enough attention to answer a question if it gets directed to me. That skill takes years of schooling to acquire. Haha.

Anyways, this week we were going over our small boat. I love boats. As we are going over the boat specs I noticed that there are no seat belts. Now mostly everyone was like "no big deal". But me, being extremely clumsy person I am (that and the whole "if it will happen you it will happen to me" thing) I thought the whole no seat belt was a big deal. Especially since I just went through the pursuit school and got tossed around even with a seat belt on.

I explained my point of view to the XO and he really listened to what I had to say. He stated that since me and the other guy just came from the school so we are pretty much the subject matter experts. He asked me to do some research on the policies and let him know what I find.

Long story short....I found out that seat belts are required to do any pursuit activity and other little important tidbits. The CO was briefed and he sent out an email to a bunch of higher ups (ie I was the only enlisted on the email). The Sector commander sent an email back stating that he was thankful that we found the issue and thought it was a major safety issue and needed to be resolved. It went all the way up to the Officer who is in charge for the oversite of the Cutter project.

Yeah it totally shot up the chain FAST. The awesome thing was that it came back full circle and the people who are in charge of the delivery process. The Master Chief came to me for information on getting the seat belts. Now technically I shouldn't have to help him because that was his responsibility not mine, but I had all the info already there and knew all of the answers to his questions. Either way he was told to make sure there were seatbelt on that boat before we take delivery of it.

P.S. The first boat may get a talking to for not noticing it. Hehe. Yeah we (our boat) is Just Fucking Better.

Haven't I seen you before...

Another weekend down. You'll never guess what I did. If you said went out drinking...well damn... you know me all too well. Haha. Some of us had a 3 day weekend, and well, I was not one of them.

I already wrote about Friday night and the major food indulgence. Saturday I went into to work first thing in the morning to do some drawings on the boat. It was early and lasted until 2 that afternoon, but I am glad I went in. It helped to go on the other boats and trace out the pipes when things were still visible. Later it was off to go shoe shopping with one of the girls. We spent all of our time at Marshall's and just one wing of the mall. We didn't get a single pair of shoes, but we did buy a few shirts. Haha.

I did find a nice outfit that I wore out later that night. A few of us went to go sing karaoke at some bar. This bar was definitely entertaining. When we pulled up, we thought we were at someones house. Two of us ventured in to look before our ride left. It was a hole in the wall, local bar. I was totally over dressed, but it turned out to be a really cool place. And a couple of the locals drove us back to the hotel.

Who needs cigarettes when you're smoking! Hehe

The only bad thing was that I drank a little too much. The reason it was bad is because me and the girl who drove here with me, had a hotel booked in New Orleans for Sunday night. When I being awake was the last thing I wanted, let alone driving an hour to go drinking. Being the trooper I am, I sucked it up and got my friend awake and off we went to NOLA. Again.

This time it was only for one night. I did find a hotel room alittle closer. One bad thing was that my friend was hungover and got sick a couple of times in the room...BEFORE we went out. Yeah I know, I am such an awesome friend. After some heaving and some decent food, she was feeling better. She couldn't really drink, but she at least still wanted to accompany on another madden journey on Bourbon Street.

Yeah, we were feeling a little rough

I had a goal when I went to Bourbon St. The last time when we were there for Mardi Gras, I found me a little roughed up cutie at one of the bars there. He works as a bouncer and he was from Ohio. We had some nice conversation, but being the friendly (and drunk) person I was, I kissed him. Nothing serious, just on the lips. It was just passionate. Actually it was pretty fucking amazing. Sparks and everything. I even went back later for another kiss and it was just as awesome. He had even wrapped me up in his arms.

Anyways... I wanted to see him again to see if this was a fluke or something special. At first I didn't see him and I asked one of the workers if he was there. They said he was, but he was working in the back somewhere. We sat around for a few to see if we could see him. We eventually just decided to walk around again. We found a old time store that was really cool with a bunch of antique/old/weird and new different types of thing.

We also got to watch a horse dance around with a woman. Ok so the woman was dancing around in front of the horse and the officer was turning and spinning the horse, but it was still cool. They even bowed at the end of the song!

After that we decided to try one last time at the bar. After sitting there at the bar watching and listening to the band, one of the bartenders went and found the guy I came to see. He kinda recognized me but couldn't place how. I was wearing a mask when I kissed him. He was getting off in a couple of hours and he wanted us to hang around to hang out for a while. He flirted while he was working and he seemed to really like me. Once he got off work we had a couple of beers then started kissing again. Haha I am so good at that. To cut to the chase, he drove us back to the hotel since it started to pour down rain and he "hung out" for a while. Well he hung out with me cause my friend so graciously went for a long walk.

I think you can figure out what happened next. But what you will never guess what I did when he went to clean up in the bathroom. I'll explain in a minute. But we said our good byes and gave him my number. I let my friend know it was safe for her to return and I walked him out. When I returned my friend was waiting. Haha. The first thing I said was "I may or may not have stole $35 out of his wallet" as I reached under my pillow and took out the money. Her reaction "WHAT!!" Haha. I have no idea what possessed me to do that, but when I picked his wallet up I saw that he was loaded and grabbed some. I am such a bad person, but at least there is never a dull moment when it come to me. I wander if he has noticed?

All better...sort of...

Mentally I am all good. I just had an off day. It happens from time to time. I am back to my old self. I went for a run yesterday an it made all the difference. It's amazing how not running can made you feel. The best part was that I was still able to make my 1.5 mile in under 15 minutes. I did run on a treadmill which kinda sucked. I always do so much better outdoors. I never stay at the same pace. It often changes with the music. Oh well, I was just excited that after 3 weeks of not working out I still did that good! I also ran today and in was under 15 minutes again. Awesome!!

What I am not doing so good is this food baby I got going on. OMG I am about to go into a food coma. I ate at the sushi place that I love down here. I couldn't eat both of the rolls. I then decided to go to another restaurant just to meet up with some of the rest of the people I work with. The bad thing was that after waiting forever for them to be seated, I was alittle hungry again. I had only planned on having a couple of drinks. Well I also had 2 lbs of crawfish. I can't believe I ate that much! But it was sooooo yummy. I think I can go the rest of the weekend without eating haha.

Ketchup....

Ok so here is the final entry to get us in the here and now.

I left off at the pursuit school. Once we graduated it was time to make our trek back to Houma, Louisiana. Since we graduated way earlier than expected we tried to get an earlier flight. I called SATO as we were in the van and every single flight out of Jacksonville North Carolina was booked except one that was later than what we had already. Damn Marines and their liberty weekend.

Oh, I forgot to mention, when the cab pulled up I asked him how his breaks were. He replies " Well I think they are fixed. How did you know?" I about freaked! I told him about our cab ride to school and he said his were bad they were just squeaky. Whew! But damn, what is it with cabs and brakes? You would think that would be an important maintenance to keep up on. Just saying....

Back on point... We were able to get on a flight that was a couple of hours sooner than our regular one. Once we got to Charlotte North Carolina, I checked the flight board and saw that there was only one flight into New Orleans and that was the one we were already booked on. So we had another wait ahead of us. Much better airport this time. A whole hell of alot more stuff in it than some rinky dink two terminal airport.

The bad thing was our flight out was scheduled for 10:30 pm but had been delayed to 11:15 pm. So we ate, hung out at the USO, then just chilled at the terminal. As we were eating we noticed a huge ass storm going pretty much top to bottom of the east coast. Great. Our flight was then delayed to Midnight because the plane coming in was coming from Indianapolis Indiana.

By the time all was said and done we got into our hotel rooms in Houma around 2 am which was technically 3 am east coast time where we left. We had gotten up at 6 that morning. Yup lllllloooonnnnnnggggg ass day. Thankfully my roomate was in Mobile for the weekend so I had the room to myself so I could just sleep in. Nice.

Monday brought us back to the ole routine. The only thing we missed out on was a fleet dedication ceremony that everyone was in their Bravos for. It was nice we missed out on wearing the Bravos but from what I heard the ceremony was really cool and the CO and XO really wished we could have experienced it. That and the crews picture will be in a museum in Manteo, North Carolina (near where I was last stationed) and me and Alex won't be in it because we were at school. I missed that oopurtunity to be a part of history.

It's all good. There will be more chances because I WILL BE LEGENDARY....

A little off key...

I know I still have some catching up to do in my blogging, but I feel like I need to write this one. You ever have that feeling like you just need to do something? Yeah, this is mine right now.

Ok so I am usually my happy go lucky self but here lately I haven't really been feeling my self lately. I don't really know why. I just get upset and angry at some things or other times I just feel down and lonely and very un-confident. Which is usually not me. I like who I am, I just don't know what's up.

I have pin pointed when it started. A few weeks before I cut my hair. I was feeling out of control. I guess there are a few things that I can put together:

  • I quit smoking, which made me gain alot of weight.
  • I cut my hair which I loved how long it was so I'm not really sure why I decided to do that. Impulse thing again. The thing is that the lady cut it really short and I usually just say "whatever, it will grow back" but this time it really affected me.
  • I have been running around all crazy like trying to get all my qualifications done before I left to come here which also meant packing
  • I blew it with a couple of really nice guys because I was acting a fool and scared them off. Which sucks cause I am getting really lonely.
  • I haven't been able to lose any weight. There for a while I was doing 2 a days (where you work out twice a day) almost every single day and I wasn't losing any weight.
Maybe all of this is just from being so stressed out all the time or maybe its the "come down" from it all but damn....this sucks. I just want to lose all the weight I gained back and be happy again.

I will shoooot you...

All I can say is that the Pursuit vessel school I went to was so awesome. Nothing is better than chasing down another boat and shooting at them. Of course it was just dummy rounds. Either way, I rocked it. Of course I was the only chick in the class. It happens to me all the time. I can say that I was a hell alot better than the guys there. Yeah...you know...chicks rule and boys drool. Haha.

Who else can make tactical look cheesey?

Another awesome thing was that I made 2nd when I was there. Oh yeah you heard that right! That's BM2 Church to you! I had a brand new uniform and by the first day it was all salty ans sweaty. I just can't wait to come back as a coxswain instead of the crewmember. Don't get me wrong because I enjoyed shooting the shotgun and M16, but I really want to drive balls to the wall style.

All of the instructors were pretty cool. One of them actually knew my niece. He was actually the one in charge of my boat. All the instructors kinda picked on me but it was all in good fun. I started it anyways. I am just that damn gullible, people just naturally want to pick on me. I don't want to be the type of chick that every guy has to dance around or walk on egg shells. I am not easily offended and I like being on of the guys. I always have been.

LA.....and not Los Angeles....

After the fun in New Orleans, it meant it was time to get down to business. I am back to the wonderful land of Houma, Louisiana. It's been a couple of years since I had been here last. Ironically enough I am in the same hotel. Good ole Fairfield Inn. I was here for a month for the oil spill and now I am down here again for the factory training for my boat. The only thing is, is that I will be here for at least 3 months.

I don't have the room to myself this time though. It's ok cause I am roomed with the one person who is the most like me. We are both very LOUD. Haha. Whatever it works cause we both get along really good. And of course we both drove so we have the most shit packed into one tiny room. It makes it homey. Alot of the other people have a tendency to congregate to our room.

One funny thing about being here is that I got here on Wednesday and left on Sunday. So much for being here for a long time. Me and another guy left here to finally go to the school we had worked so damn hard to get to. We never thought it would finally get there.

Actually we almost didn't. On the ride there the taxi we were riding in almost creamed the back of another car. The lady kept bumping the brakes on the way there and silly me just thought that she was just messing around. Nope. Come to find out that the breaks just didn't work that well, as I found out as we were flying down the road and the car ahead of us decided to slam on it's brakes and turn left. I seriously don't know how this women missed the car but she did. She managed to turn away at the last moment onto the shoulder and missed the other car by an inch. All I kept thinking was "relax the body, relax the body". Because you know, the tenser you are the more the body will hurt.

More on the class to come...

Hola Nola...

I must say that Mardi Gras in New Orleans is definitely an amazing experience. This is one of those places that you have to have an open mind. There is alot of not so normal stuff that goes on here.

Bourbon Street is dirty, nasty, puke on the ground, piss all over kinda place and I love it. It really isn't that bad. Or at least I think. Yeah there is puke in places as well as piss, but not everywhere. Yes it is dirty, but its not like I'm going to lick the ground or anything.

When I say you have to have an open mind, I mean you can't be freaked out by the littlest things. There are all kinds of people. Nudests, free spirits, gays, trannys, old people, dirty old men (and women), people is costumes, and well, pretty much anything you can think of. It is a great place to just get away and be whoever you want to be cause nobody knows you there. And its a party town so that type of behavior is to be expected.

Of course not everything was dirty. I managed to get a pimp ass hotel room just a couple blocks from Bourban Street. The room was huge! It was like a small apartment. It was at the Homewood Inn by Hilton. This room have its own kitchen area with dining room, a huge living room, a bedroom with two queen beds and tons of space, a large closet/sink area and a large bathroom. Oh! And a balcony. Which was great because it overlooked where I parked my truck.

To sum up my experience there...I would say...freaking amazing. I drank, I got beads, saw some parades with really great floats, and kissed a very hot guy at one of the bars. Ok I will explain this one. We (Suzy my sidekick/guardian), went into one of the places to get a drink and one of the guys at the door carded us. Well he made a joke about my license saying Ohio and the next thing I knew one of the other bouncers got in between and was like "I got this one". Haha he was also from Ohio and we got to talking and joking. He was so damn cute I just had to kiss him. It was just on the lips, no tongue. He was amazing kisser. Sparks went through my whole body.

Of course I moved on after the kiss. Haha. We walked to the end of the street and hung out for awhile and then decided to make our way back to the beginning. Of course when we came up to the bar with Aaron (yea I only got his name) I ran up to him and planted another kiss. What was awesome was that he embraced me. Suzy later told me it looked so touching. Haha. I wore a mask and he only got my name so I am curious to go back up there to see if I can find him again. (sorry no pictures of that)

All in all, it was a great time. There were no fights, just a bunch of people drinking and having a good time. Of course I didn't stay out after 2 am so there might have been some then. Either way it was a great experience.

We were drinking out of fish bowls filled with ALOT of Tequila

My huge ass beer

God is over Meridian...

That was on a Church sign. I took it the sarcastic way. To me this read: God is (so) oooooovvvvvveeerrr Meridian. Yup, I'm pretty sure that's not what it meant.

My time in Meridian, Mississippi (haha I love typing that word. It's fun. Try it) started after the long drive from Miami, Florida. After a 12 hour or so drive, which ended in dodging water spouts and flooded roads, landed us at a bar. Good call. Haha. No seriously, my brother, Pat, had a gig. Yea he's a drummer. Sorry ladies he is married. I met up there with my other brother, Nick, and his wife, friend, and Pat's wife.

Great times had by all. Nick ended up leaving early to go back to the house. I went not long after. What?!? I had been driving all day. We spent the next day eating lunch then wishing Nick and his clan good bye. They had already been there a couple of days. That did leave us to venture out.

Our attempt at a serious family photo...

Pat took me to his work. He is an Air Traffic Controller in the Navy. Pretty cool. Not much around there though. I did get to climb the tower and look out onto the air field. When I say air field, it pretty much means a rinky dink air field. I got to see a Navy plane that was crashed by a student.

It was nice to catch up. I hadn't seen Pat and Sheila since their wedding. I miss him most of all because he is just as goofy as me. For being step-brother and sister, we get along like we are blood relatives and I feel that way.

Runners...take your mark....

That's pretty close to how it was!

Ok. Pre-leaving. Does that really even make sense? Pre-Leaving? Ah, oh well. I am from Ohio. We have our own language.

I was able to get all the qualifications and pre-requisites done for the Non Compliant Vessel Course I needed to go to. Which meant that I was not "that guy" who ruined it for the boat. There was another guy who was going as well (we are a team) and he was busting his ass to get his shit done as well. Thankfully by the very skin of our teeth (I really mean it) we were able to go.

I was also able to pack all of the things I thought I might need in a 3 month span. As well as another girls.  I also managed to not have any checks with me so I had to have my mom mail it to me. Good thing I brought all my paperwork and important stuff to her. She also mailed me my Concealed Carry Permit.....with a picture of me and my black eye.....EPIC!

I had one of the girls from the boat ride with me. That was one of the best decisions ever. It made the trip go by so quick. It was nice having someone there to talk and joke around with. Also she kept an eye out on me. Hehe.

The car ride was pretty comical. There was never a dull moment. Especially when we got near Mobile, Alabama. It started to pour down rain and the winds picked up. We both swear we saw a water spout start to form when we were headed over a bridge.

I'm also glad I had a truck in some spots. The roads were starting to get flooded. But we made it in one piece to Mississippi (that's a whole nother blog). I can't say that for some. There were a few accidents and ridiculously funny looking people traveling on the roads.

Here's to you air guitar man and fat guy who takes up both front seats!

Back on the straight and very narrow...

Whew. Ok. I think I am finally all rested up and relaxed. Most of the craziness has past and I am happy to  say that I am alive. Last night I went to bed at 10 pm and woke up at 10 am this morning. Yup I needed a time out. I am happy to say that I am back at it and ready to type. The only bad thing is that I have ALOT to catch you up on. I won't put it all into one blog because then it would go on for eeeeeevvvvvvveeeeeerrrrr. Haha. So I will break each experience into individual blogs. This shit is going to be awesome! I have had so much fun. Wish you were there!

For those of you who actually believed I had a porn site.

P.S. That's only the beginning of the pictures!

I need to decide where to start. Yea yea I know "How about you start at the beginning". Phsst. Not so easy to do when you have been all over the place lately. After reading over the last few posts, I think I have figured out some way.

I think I will separate the posts this way:

1. Pre-leaving summary
2. Meridian, Mississippi (my brothers)
3. New Orleans and Mardi Gras
4. Louisianna
5. Camp Lejeune
6. Where I'm at now

I figured if I write it down it would help keep me on track.
