When life gives you lemons, kick life in the balls and squeeze lemon juice in its eyes...

It never ends. At least things have gotten to a point to where I'm just like "Whatever". Everything is just one shit show after another. I just laugh at this point. There's nothing I can do. So I had just rather sit back, do what I can, and just let things roll as they may.

The first thing that set me off was our quote/unquote PT test. What a damn joke. The command supposedly got the course from Sector. It was not 1.5 miles. Where they stopped us was just over 1.5 miles. I passed within my time, even though I ran 1.51 miles. I also passed my sit ups and push ups. But none of that counted for anything. Since they didn't have the correct course they decided to use it as a practice. I pointed out the fact that I ran with an app that tracks my movements by GPS. They said that wouldn't count. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! Athletes use the same technology! Hell, you mean to tell me that we can PILOT A MILLION DOLLAR BOAT with GPS and it counts but not running a 1.5 mile?!?!  STUPID!!!

Yeah, I was a little mad. They just handled things wrong. We have been busting our asses so much and then the want us to do a PT test? Then they didn't even have their shit together. Not cool.

The next greatest let down was the range day. Seriously? We looked like a bunch of assholes when the GM's had to come and get to our boat and ask if we were still going to shoot today. Seriously. The Ensign who was in charge is a total dumbass sometimes. She handed our papers to the GM's and they were all wrinkly and folded up. Yup, that's totally professional. Ever hear of a damn folder?

As we get settled, we found out that they can only shoot 2 people at a time. (What I mean is only 2 people can shoot at a time. We only shot the green guy on paper, I promise). So by the time I got to shoot it was late in the day and I was already tired. My first go round I didn't pass but I didn't do too bad. The second time was a shit show. I shot beside a guy who was a total trainwreck. Goofy as hell and didn't really take things seriously. So of course I lost concentration. I shot horribly. And to top it off I got a shell casing stuck in between my face and my safety glasses. By the time I was able to get to it, it had burnt into my skin. Owwy.

Trust me when I say it looks alot worse in person.
There were some up sides. Some of us did get together and have beer and fish at the pier. The newest Ensign is a freakin blast! I claimed her as one of "us" haha. She is about 4 foot 9 inches and fishes, doesn't mind getting dirty, listens to what we have to offer and is willing to learn from us (seeing as though we all have the experience on the boat). I hope she stays this way and doesn't get a "I'm better than you and I know everything" attitude like the other Ensign.

Here's she is filleting the fish we caught. Awesome!
The final thing that set me over the edge is when I came home. I had to come home to drop my truck off. So I go to pull into my parking spot and there is a pallet of concrete mix there. Awesome. So I pull into someone elses spot. They are usually never there so I should be good. It's not like I am going to be here long anyways. I head up to the apartment and put my stuff away. I go to check on the leak issue I had the last time I was here. Lets just say that things took a major turn for the worst.

The leak that was supposed to be fixed a while ago has only gotten worst. Now my walls in the closet are brown and the walls in the kitchen are falling down. The floors are also ruined and beveling up. The base boards in the kitchen are black and the hood above my stove is about to fall off the wall. I touched the wall close to the ceiling and my finger went right through the drywall. This did give me the opportunity to see where the leak was coming from and rig something up to catch the water.

Back to my redneck roots: A plastic cup & a funnel and  a broom handle.
The really awesome thing about all of this is that I can't be here to deal with it. So I have to rely on the maintenance guy and my landlady (who just went through a major surgery and almost lost her finger, so she can't really do anything.). All of the issues I have with the apartment always fall on a weekend when nobody is around to help. This time I was able to find a security guard and told him he had to call the manager now. Haha poor guy it was his first day working. The manager did send the maintenance guy on Saturday morning. He tracked the leak down to the apartment 2 floors above me. He saw that the drain pipe was moved up 2 inches. So he pushed it back down and thought that solved the issue, but it didn't. So I sent him a text today to tell him the same thing is happening. He is going to be back Monday to work on it more. Yeah. You guys have fun with that. I just hope my apartment is in one piece when I come back. Good thing I got renters insurance.
