My second tattoo I got in August 2006 right before I left to go to bootcamp. I got this cross to symbolize the cross I always wore. I couldn't wear jewelry but I felt that I still needed the protection it provided. So I got this one. Of course it is not exactly the same. The cross I wore was all silver and had Jesus hanging on the cross. But none the less, it was the energy it channeled and I felt protected. The placement of it gives me the satisfaction on knowing I can always look over my shoulder and know "He" is there and has my back.
