My Fourth Tattoo...

My Fourth tattoo I got in late 2007. I got this tattoo as an accomplishment in my career. I made Boatswains Mate Third Class Petty Officer. It was a big deal to me. I struck instead of going to school. Which means I learned it on my own and from those around me (mostly myself) instead of having it spoon fed to me at school. (No offense to the A schoolers reading this). Its just harder in my perspective.

I got this as a "build on" piece. Every time I advance, I am adding on to it. Call it a "if you want more, do more" tattoo. The anchors symbolize what a Boatswains Mate is, "Church" because it's who I am and also has a nautical theme. I don't want anything that says BAM! Coast Guard. Don't get me wrong, I love what I am doing, I just personally think its lame. Sorry.

I went back to the shop that I got my third one done and Andy Chambers was no longer there. They told me where he went. I really wanted him to tattoo it, but they convinced me to do it there by another guy. Since I drew the design up, I figured how hard can it be? It came out great, but I also wonder how Andy would have done it.

Done (Can't remember the guys name) at (formally known as) Wolf's Den in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Right Ankle (inside)
